It's Official

UPS is lame. Very lame. I was mistaken about missing the delivery, they actually never attempted delivery on my digital camera. They actually just left it on the semi. Apparently, to UPS, second business day shipping means: "Whenever we feel like it."

Is UPS cool or not?

Do you ever really look forward to receivnig a package from UPS? And you watch the tracking number, and figure out when you are going to receive it? At that point, you are totally jazzed. That's how I was this morning, totally jazzed. I knew that today was going to be the day that I received my digital camera. Unfortunately, I missed the delivery. Because the office of the apartment that I live in was closed today, UPS did not deliver it to them either. Luckily, I was able to get off work early, at 3:31 to be exact. I call UPS at 3:46. I want to know if they'll be able to make another attempt to deliver my much-anticipated camera today. UPS tells me that they'll try, and that they will be calling me back within an hour to give me an update. Thirty-one minutes have passed, no contact from UPS. This is it UPS. Today I find out if you totally rock, or if you don't rock so much...

The Least Important Things I'll Do On My Week Off

5. Play Halo 2 - Somehow a day is better when you get to shoot up, blow up, and slice up aliens.
4. Finish Christmas shopping - There are two things in this world that I am great at, playing Street Fighter II and shopping efficiently. I could finish my Christmas shopping in two hours, I'm that good.
3. Read How To Win Friends and Influence People for the third time - This is a book that you should read as much as you watch Billy Madison, and that's a LOT!
2. two words: breakfast tacos
1. Celebrate Festivus on December 23rd (from l-r: Demimboy, Chad Anderson w/mullet, and my brother holding what is probably a Leslie Nielson movie, from Festivus III, courtesy of the Elrick's basement )

I'm not sure what the Festivus activities will consist of this year, but that's all right, it just leaves us all more open to Festivus Miracles!
